Hall Facilities
Having been in receipt of grant funding we have been able to refurbish our delightful village hall, bringing it into the 21st Century with full, modern amenities. Village halls are important, as relevant as ever, and make a real difference to the community, giving everyone the opportunity to celebrate events within walking distance of their homes in the heart of our rural community.
The St. Tudy Village Hall is a registered charity (charity number 1187961).
Trustees are the ‘guardians of purpose,’ making sure that all decisions put the needs of the hall and its hirers first.
They safeguard the charity’s assets – both physical assets, including property, and intangible ones, such as its reputation. They make sure these are used well and that the charity is run sustainably.
Our team of volunteer Trustees give their commitment and time to the responsibility of their duties, using their energy, skills, and experience to keep the Hall in best condition.
Trustees of the past have overseen extensive fundraising and building projects and the current team have recently completed an extensive refurbishment of the Hall and garden.
